My name is Marzena Szkodo. I have a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a master’s degree in Psychology. I joined the SAPIENS group in November 2020. My PhD project is focused on early diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Using longitudinal data collected by NIDA Network, I will study how the integration of vocal and motor production within the first year of life is related to later social functioning of a child. My goal is also to develop a novel tool/software for studying motor and vocal developmental trajectories in infants.
