I am Indonesian (born, raised, and lived in Jakarta until 2013). I did my first degree (BEng) in Electrical Engineering at Universitas Indonesia in my home country, And two master’s degrees (MSc Statistics & MSc A.I.) at K.U. Leuven in Belgium. Now working under Terje Falck-Ytter at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden for my PhD study. Finally, I must frankly confess that I am an authentic nerd who’d rather spend time in front of my laptop to either crunch data or watching anime or other nerdy stuffs, than going to student parties.

I am using BABYTWINS data to try to look for [behavioural] genetic explanation for (the hypothesized) correlations between measures (neurophysiological, behavioural) of early social interactions in 5-mo. old infant twins and their later cognitive development. We plan to use both the traditional (statistical, both univariate and multivariate) and non-traditional (machine learning, computational modelling) approaches to achieve this.
